It tends to be the underplayed, un-covered or newly discovered gems tailor made for the discerning soul music enthusiast. We are familiar with the classics and limited commercial playlists. All great quality stuff but a little tiresome for progressive soul music lovers who remain unimpressed by most clubs and radio play in the USA. If you long for the vibe of the acid jazz era, where underground soul music was constantly shared by djs, parties and performers, you’ll dig Luxury Soul!

Luxury Soul is for those who choose to dig deeper and want to get turned on to music they may not know or haven’t heard or the rare favorites that need revitalization. Beautiful soul music from 1970s soul to disco to boogie to acid jazz to cherry picked neo-soul from today. It may be a Brief Encounter song from 1970, a Delegation gem from 1980, an Incognito groover from 1999 or a Raphael Saadiq cut from 2012, it’s all part of the modern soul music continuum.
